This month brought two milestones. The new Enterprise Portal and Security Center both reached Beta, each with its own launch announcement. See the new Enterprise Portal and Security Center for deep dives on both. Beyond those launches, several new capabilities landed across the platform.
Single sign-on for your customers
Enterprise Portal now supports SAML single sign-on for your end customers, available to every team. Customers sign in with their own identity provider instead of managing a separate login. You can also scope access with a domain allowlist, so only approved email domains provision into the portal.
Support for KOTS and kURL customers
Enterprise Portal now supports your KOTS and kURL customers for air gap use cases, alongside the Embedded Cluster and Helm support it already had. Those customers can get their install and update instructions from the portal, upload a support bundle they've collected, as well as download their license file directly.
Ask AI for your documentation
You can now turn on Ask AI, an assistant that answers your customers' questions using only your own published portal documentation. It's off by default, and you enable it per application under Content > Portal Features. It draws strictly from the docs each customer is entitled to see, so it won't surface features a customer isn't licensed for.
Security Center reached Beta this month and is now available to every team. The announcement covers the full picture. Here's what else landed for vendors this cycle.
Control what your customers see
You can now curate the security information customers see in their portal, including whether to show CVEs that do not yet have a fix, so you present an accurate security posture without surfacing noise they cannot act on. From the same display settings, you can also let customers download the raw image scan results for a release, which helps teams that feed scan data into their own compliance tooling.
One registry to allowlist
You can now route all Replicated traffic, both container images and Helm charts, through a single proxy registry, so customers no longer need to allowlist `registry.replicated.com` separately on their firewall. Paired with a custom domain, everything your customers pull comes from one host you control. This capability is on by default for new teams, and existing teams can enable it by reaching out to us.
See what is driving your registry egress
The Vendor Portal now attributes proxy registry egress to its sources, so you can see which images and customers are driving pull volume rather than just a running total. That makes it easier to investigate an unexpected spike or plan around usage.
Release notes on the Channel Release History page
You can now read the release notes for every release on a channel directly from the Channel Release History page, in a new changelog view. Reading notes used to mean opening each release one at a time. Now they're all in one place.
Delete a support bundle
You can now delete a support bundle from the Vendor Portal, from either the UI or the API. That keeps your support tooling tidy and lets you remove bundles you no longer need to retain.
Embedded Cluster v3 continues toward GA
Embedded Cluster v3 shipped more Beta releases this month on its path to general availability. You can follow the details in the release notes.
